Sheldon Haudenschild is setting tracks on fire across the Midwest. 2015 has served as his breakout season, with 5 wins on the year and counting.

Sheldon teamed up with crew chief, Bonzai Bruns in late June, posting back-to-back wins during the week. No stranger to racing, Sheldon picked up his second crewmember, former Arenacross rider and long time friend, Zach Ames. “I’ve known Sheldon since we were young,” noted Ames. “We’ve always been a team, we’ve always been friends; working together just tops it off.”

The #93 team picked up a win at The Lou Blaney Memorial, hosted at Sharon Speedway in July, prior to the Knoxville Nationals. Sheldon earned his 10th place starting position in the 2015 Knoxvile Nationals Feature; the first Nationals Feature start of his career. “It felt good to have such a successful Speedweek starting out with Bonzai,” said Sheldon. “To go into Knoxville Nationals with only a month together and make the show was definitely exciting.”

Carrying the momentum on through the final stretch of the All Star Circuit of Champions schedule, Sheldon headed into a triple-race weekend, capturing a 2nd place at Attica, followed by wins at Attica and Wayne County Speedway. He adds those podium finishes to his 14 podiums, and 24 top ten’s so far this year.

Sheldon and the Haudenschild Racing #93 team will compete this weekend at Atomic Speedway.

UPCOMING: Sheldon and Jac will travel to Tulare, CA for the Trophy Cup. They will make up a father-son team for Roth Motorsports. Sheldon will pilot the #83, and Jac will return to the familiar #83SR.

Haudenschild Racing is proud to partner with Southern Pacific Farms, Butlerbuilt Seats, Simpson, Finzer Farms, Heckman Tree Farm, Callies Performance, Millersburg Tire, Spectro Oils, Wintermeyer Salvage, Keizer Wheels, and Rod End Supply.
